Before the Second Meeting

Alpaca Scholars of America is doing relatively fine.

It is the day before the second meeting. We already have the agenda written down between Jeremy, Joshua, and me. One of the items includes the Constitution of the organization. Jeremy thought we should have a constitution so that we can have a basis to run on. Alexa from PICA suggested doing that to him apparently.

We're going to make this in the fanciest way as possible, while having the meeting through Discord. We need to show the draft of the Constitution to the current members, then let them suggest stuff in. In the end, we're going to vote for it to be in effect. There will be flags and fireworks, probably and preferably spammed through the text channels.

Besides the meeting, it is still going slow. We haven't gone public yet, although Jeremy and Joshua thought that we should be after this meeting. I agree with them. I should work on the poster for it.

For the alpaca scholars in DFW area, we've been thinking of having a meet-up somewhere. I suggested to go to the Arboretum: it's really nice, I have the membership there so I can bring 5 people with me with free registration fee, and we can fool around with ourselves on the grass. I also wanted to go and check out the grannies and grandpas in the DeGolyer's house. I miss them. Aarush suggested to go to the Escape Room which would actually be closer for all of us scholars (the Arboretum takes around 40 min to an hour for most of us, the Escape Room is roughly in the middle for all of us), but then the price would be from $32 and higher. Too expensive for all of us, eh?
